The excursion

I guess I should document some of the experiences Jimmy and I have endured (a little dramatic I suppose).

I GRADUATED! Thanks to my mom, Grandma Marie and Jimmy for being there!

I forget how short I am sometimes.

Jimmy and I spent a lot of time packing....

And I even got to take apart somethings, like our box-spring. Yes, I took a hammer to it.

We went to California, this is the Newport Beach Temple...correct me if I am wrong. It is pink!

And we spent time with these cute people. Jimmy is a lover of Disney world, and what better, but two princess loving nieces to share the Disney magic.

Jimmy and I battled. Look at my focus!

The Dumbo ride was one of Alice's favorites. Family resemblance. I think so!

You think they are siblings?!

We went to the beach. Jimmy and Joe did some pretty spectacular wave surfing. Annie and I got in later, but needless to say I was a little more of a whimp.

Then we headed back to Utah to start doing this.....driving...

And driving....

And then we stopped in Dallas. Another non-white temple....

And we saw this fabulous cute family!

We drove some more, until we arrived in a more green, luscious area such as this.....

More pictures of our Virginia experience to come. We don't have pictures of that yet.

Lexington VA

WE MADE IT! No more road-trip for us, we made it to the balmy, humid city of Lexington VA. We did pass about 4 Lexingtons on the way, but this is the one that has the right Law School in it. Our road trip was successful, with only minor mishaps (i.e. mean little rock that put a chip in our windshield).

Now to settle in to our apartment....no wait!--we have to start school tomorrow. Guess we will unpack later ;)

packing...

This last week Jimmy and I have done some serious packing. Our apartment has been reduced to a bunch of boxes and suitcases piled in one corner of the living room, and clothes still folded in the baskets. It doesn't seem right to put our clothes away anymore. We got rid of our futon (phew!) and even our computer desk! We even got a little mullah out of it :)

Yesterday we sent off 5 boxes of books and pictures and I imagine we might have another trip to the post office before this week it through. However we are so excited to be moving, and of course for the little vacation we get before we actually make the exodus to Virginia.

Oh yes, and I almost forgot, my graduation is this week. With all this moving stuff, my graduation really is not the first thing on my mind. But my mama is coming to town, which makes it all the more special.. Hooray for special little hood-thingy and choir-looking robes, receiving an empty dipolma cover, with a firm handshake from the department chair. No really, the sarcasm is not totally intentional. I am excited to be done, and to move on with my life. BYU has been a unique experience, with lots of good people and mostly good classes ;)

Hopefully in the next few weeks I will actually post a picture or two.
