check

Canoe/kayak on Granite lake to the island. It is kind of a thing that all people living in Munsonville do.

Because the year we dated was seasonably rainy and we have not had much of a long stay in NH since, this summer was the time to check that experience off the list. So a few days ago we put Lucy to bed, asked my brother to keep an ear out, and walked to the boat landing with two kayaks and their paddles. Might I add that the water was perfect and the weather mild and calm. I think it just what we both needed at the end of the week.

And is case you were wondering about Lucy these days, here's an update.  Lucy is discovering the tastes and feels for things that disgusts the life out of me. First she discovered her diaper the other day. Ewk! And then there was the dog vomit that Bailey left in the dining room. Gross! Her face seems so innocent, but her actions are down right DIS-CUS-TING!

Just to remind you that is is adorable here is a picture of her curly-headedness

But she does mostly awesome things like talking, signing and dancing. She says "daddy" (for both mommy and daddy), "chchchch" (cheese), "ackle" (apple), "dog," "ball," "car, it's a car!" "done," and "hi!" She also loves to wave (thought she did that before!), and sign "more" and "food."(and "dog" just recently) I can't keep up with the amount of things she is learning these days. It feels like she just starting learning everything all at once.

And here she is eating an "ackle" in her old car seat.

And I will leave it at that for now, with a picture with her and uncle Geoff swimming.

  1. Such cute, curly hair!

I loved going to the island and jumping off the rocks. It's been a long time since I've done that.
