This week is spring break. Hooray! Yesterday we went to DC for the day. It was a nice trip if we ignore the part where we couldn't find parking when we first got into DC. But honestly once we all fumed a little bit, and got out of the car and made it to the metro, life was good.
We went to the Tortilla Cafe, the Botanical Gardens, and the Air and Space museum. It was a nice trip, but we won't be going back for a little while. We have to wait a little while so we forget how much we hate that awful traffic. In the meantime enjoy some photos of the day.
Looks so fun! I really want to visit DC and I'm trying to plan a trip before Jimmy is done with law school and you guys aren't really tied there anymore. Maybe this fall or next spring. We'll see. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the biggest regrets Roberet and I had was not taking advantage of the things that were available to us when we lived in the area (New York City). Forget the traffic soon and go again when you can. You may or may nolt live in that areas again in your lifetime.
